Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to get to know who I am and what the Lord has moved my heart to do. My name is Allison I am a occupational therapist, I am married to my best friend Trevor. We are Tallahassee, FL natives. We enjoy exploring state parks, traveling and diving into family history. I enjoy gardening, sewing and homesteading. I have worked in acute care, inpatient rehab, home health, and pediatric occupational therapy. I care about all aspects of the human life and hope that I can make a difference for you and your family.

The Lord used a number of People to guide me to where I am today. The thought of occupational therapy was first planted by a friend I worked with that stated it would be “perfect for you.” It wasn’t until a family friend whom I called “grandpa John” was in a nursing home and was working with a occupational therapist that I knew this is what I wanted to do. Grandpa john was 96, and was living by himself independently until this moment. That deserves a huge applause. I am forever grateful for grandpa Johns love and kindness towards my family.

Fast forward to a few years later my grandfather whom I called Papa was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. He fought very hard. However, the Lord called him home. During his cancer diagnosis I was in OT school. I would sit with him and listen to his stories. He and my grandmother would ask me medical questions that they did not understand. My papa always called me “doc” as I was the first person in my family to explore a graduate degree program in the medical field. During the last week of his life I was one of the only people that could transfer him by myself due to the education and training I have received. Through this experience I knew I wanted to impact other families in the most intimate moments.
